Hi there,
I am the petitioner and I am going to serve my Ex by mail.
On the Fl 115 form section 4. Person who served papers:
Question: Can one of parents fill out this section to serve my Ex? (Although I live with my parents)

Hi Cristin,
My brother recently received his divorce papers just the other day, served by his adult son (who lives in same residence with both parties involved, my brother and petitioner). Rightfully so, my nephew is completely angry with his parent’s divorce turmoil, and shutting off any communication with both of them. Unsure as to why he got designated server, but needless to say there’s a lot of concern with summons part of divorce process.
ON BEHALF OF MY BROTHER, CONCERNS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Can my adult nephew serve
papers since he lives in same
roof with petitioner and my
brother?
Will this be a problem for
my brother delaying the 30
day response, or the
petitioner’s?
Cristin, please, please, please if u can expand more details about the proof of service summons part.
Thank you and much much much appreciation for this resourceful forum.
